This afternoon, there will continue to be plenty of sunshine in the south, whilst in the north there will be a mix of sun and clouds. A brisk northerly foehn wind will blow at times.

A moist northerly upper-level flow is determining the weather in the Alpine region.
From the Ortler, across the alpine crest, to the Rieserferner Group, the mountains are partly shrouded in clouds; elsewhere, the weather is pleasant, with a mix of sun and clouds.
Weather development Wednesday and Thursday: changeable weather
Wednesday will start with patches of low-lying fog in some areas, whilst elsewhere it will be very sunny. From the afternoon onwards, rain showers and thunderstorms are expected across a wide area, continuing into the night. On Thursday, the weather will remain slightly changeable with plenty of cloud and some sunshine, along with a few rain showers. Friday will see heavily overcast skies, with some rain expected in places once again. On Saturday, there will be plenty of sunshine with a few harmless clouds.
