Our organic farm is located just above the garden village of Algund in a wonderful panoramic position. We are situated at the foot of the Texel Group Nature Park and close to the spa town of Merano. Many hiking trails are directly accessible from our farm. Enjoy the warming rays of sunshine on the Waalweg trail or take advantage of the easy ascent with the chairlift to Vellau or with the basket lift directly to the Leiteralm and the Meraner Höhenweg trail. The center of Algund, the cycle path along the former Via Claudia Augusta or Aschbach for family hikes or bike trails of various levels of difficulty are also in the immediate vicinity. Give your car a vacation and use the public transport just around the corner with your Algundcard free of charge throughout South Tyrol.

We, Andreas and Barbara, took over the farm in 2010, modernized it and converted it to organic farming. We live on our organic farm with our children Lea and David, our playful Labrador mongrel Luna and our two cats Wurschti and Pelzi, which we continue to develop with great pleasure and farm as close to nature as possible. As a teacher, theater and circus teacher, Barbara is often on the road, but she always has an open ear and valuable tips for her guests, especially for the concerns of children and parents. Families and couples with four-legged friends are also very welcome.

Our 4 vacation apartments "Lavandula", "Salvia", "Sambucus" and "Melissa" are between 45m² and 57m² in size, built according to organic building criteria and furnished in a contemporary farmhouse style. Natural lime plaster, solid wood furniture in untreated Swiss stone pine ensure a cozy atmosphere and mains switches for a radiation-free feel-good ambience. Electricity and hot water are supplied by our resource-saving solar, photovoltaic and pellet systems. The apartments are south-facing and equipped with 1 - 2 bedrooms, a spacious, well-equipped eat-in kitchen with induction stove, oven, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher and coffee machine, a fold-out sofa, at least 2 balconies or terrace with a wonderful view, a bathroom with comfort shower, hairdryer, bidet and WC, satellite TV and WLAN. A baby crib, high chair, buggy suitable for off-road terrain or a Kraxe are available on request. You can also help yourself in the herb garden, use our bread roll service and do your laundry for a small charge. For the children there is a playground and the possibility to train their balance on various rollers and balls or to swing on a unicycle, while the parents relax comfortably on the lawn.

You will find relaxation here at any time of year: in spring you can enjoy the warming rays of sunshine and marvel at the spectacle of the apple blossom, in summer the numerous alpine pastures in the area and the high mountains beckon, in autumn the colorful nature enchants and the Törggelen invites you to a convivial get-together, in winter the nearby ski slopes of Merano 2000, the Merano thermal baths and the atmospheric Christmas markets beckon. Whether hiking, biking, climbing, swimming or simply enjoying some peace and quiet, everything is possible. We would be delighted to welcome you here!
